ExpandQ What are the coat hangers made from?
A Our cardboard coat hangers are made from 100% recycled cardboard. Around 80% of the cardboard is post-consumer waste meaning our hangers are mostly made from old phone book, junk mail, printing offcuts and newspapers. No trees are cut down specifically for the production of the Green Hanger.
ExpandQ How long will the coat hangers last?
A That depends on how they’re used. In the average wardrobe, there’s no reason why the Green Hangers can’t last a lifetime. In a retail environment, the Green Hanger coat hangers are robust enough to see out each season and even longer for lighter garments such as t-shirts, shirts and dresses.
ExpandQ How long does delivery take?
A Orders are usually dispatched within one day of receipt of order. You should normally receive your hangers within 5 working days to most Australian capital cities. Allow 7-12 days for overseas orders. We’ll provide a tracking number so you can check the progress of your order.
ExpandQ Can I receive a sample of the hangers?
A Unfortunately due to the large number of requests we receive, Green Hanger does not send out samples. There are however numerous detailed photos of the hangers in the gallery section of our website so you can see their shape and how they’re used.
ExpandQ Can I print on the coat hangers?
A We make every effort to limit our impact on the environment and for this reason we do not provide printing on our coat hangers. We can however, have your logo embossed on the face of the hanger. The minimum order quantity for this service is 5,000 units. Price will be provided on application.
ExpandQ What types of payment methods do you use?
A To safeguard your privacy online, Green Hanger takes payment via PayPal, which is perhaps the easiest and the most secured payment source over the Internet. You can pay via credit card or even just send money online, you don’t even need to have a PayPal account and your information is secure.
ExpandQ What if the hangers are damaged during shipment?
A In the rare instance that your order is damaged during shipment, we would require a photo of the damage so we could assess. We would then require hangers returned to us and you’ll be issued with replacement hangers.
ExpandQ Are coat hanger payments refundable?
A If your order of Green Hangers have not been shipped, we would be able to refund your money. However if the order has been despatched we would not be able to offer a refund. Should you receive the wrong item or a damaged item, simply return them to us and we’ll happily rectify to your satisfaction.
ExpandQ Are the coat hangers resistant to steam?
A Yes, the Green Hanger coat hanger has been tested and is resistant to moderate amounts of steam and moisture – like that found in your average dry cleaners.
ExpandQ How do I order larger quantities?
A You can order directly off our website via our buy now section! For large scale commercial orders (5000 hangers+) just email us with the quantity required as well as a shipping address and we’ll organise an quote.

A The Green Hanger is fully accredited to international standards using 100% certified recycled cardboard. We’ve been awarded the Eco-Mark for sustainable products ensuring all manufacturing is done to ISO14001 standards.
ExpandQ Are the Green Hangers suitable for dry cleaners?
A Yes, not only is the Green Hanger suitable for the tough dry cleaning environment, they work in automated systems and won’t tangle or snare clothing like wire can.

A The kids Green Hangers are 30cm (11.8") in width while the adults Green Hangers are 43cm (17") in width.
